VP of Strategy and Business Development

POSITION SUMMARY

As Vice President of Strategy & Business Development, you are senior executive responsible for identifying, evaluating, and executing strategic growth opportunities, including new markets and sales partnerships. Have a strong and outgoing personality with a natural business acumen to drive results.

KEY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

By consistently searching for new business and having face-to-face interactions, you are able to express the importance of our product with an energy that is both convincing and true. More specifically you will:

• Lead comprehensive market analysis to identify emerging technologies & new customer markets.
• Meet with customers to review needs, maintain & build relations and determine opportunities.
• Develop & communicate proposals that highlight ROI and product value. Define & execute BD strategies to expand market presence & achieve revenue and margin targets.
• Work closely with executive team to manage the merger & acquistion potential funnel, including sourcing, due dilligence & integration planning
• Prospect new business in current verticals and markets.
• Cross functional leadership by collaborating with Sales & Marketing, product management, supply chain & operation steams to align growth strategies and translate customer insights into actionable plans.

JOB REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline (or equivalent work experience).
• 10-15 years of experience in senior executive management leadership role.
• Proven ability and track record of closing transactional sales at a high close rate.
• Ability to build, manage, & mentor high performing BD & strategy team.
• Exceptional communication, presentation & negotiation skills required.
• Deep industry knowledge of television sector & extensive network of industry contacts.
