What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hotel Maintenance Helper position at Sleep Inn?
Hotel Maintenance Helper is responsible for assisting with upkeep and maintenance of the Hotel - Must be available for a 8am - 4pm shift - previous Hotel/apartment, Building Maintenance or construction Laborer Helpful.
- Troubleshooting/repair/cleaning of electrical/mechanical systems to include HVAC/PTAC & Plumbing
- Conducting ongoing preventative maintenance program
- General Houseman Duties
- Painting and touch up
- Floor Cleaning
- Review, prioritize and complete daily work orders
- Daily inspections of property to identify potential and current needs
- Coordinating with local health, fire and building inspectors to ensure compliance with codes and regulations
- Servicing Hotels outdoor pool ensuring daily testing is completed and chemicals are within the standard
- Strong work ethic and a desire to succeed
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
- Experience installing and troubleshooting electrical switches, PTACS and HVAC units, also to include drywall repair, plumbing repairs, etc.
- CPO and CFC certified a plus
- Reliable transportation
- Previous Hotel/Apartment/Strip mall, Maintenance experience a Must
- Other tasks assigned by Management or property Owners
