Job Overview: The Warehouse Operations Supervisor is responsible for the facility safety, productivity and inventory accuracy. The incumbent supervises a group of non-exempt employees, motivating them to meet company goals, top standards for safety, quality and productivity. The Supervisor ensures that the receipt, inspection and shipment of product for re-sale meets all State and Federal Laws in the bedding industry.

- Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures with focus on continuous improvement.
- Complies with federal, state, and local laws pertaining to warehouse, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
- Ensure safe work environment for all associates with robust Safety Program to create accident free work areas.
- Provided DOT & FMSCA expertise to ensure compliance with all applicable Federal, State and local requirements.
- Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
- Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.
- Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repaid and requisitions for replacement.
- Achieves financial objectives by developing associates and monitoring adherence to procedures while motivating associates to hit productivity standards.
- Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
- Maintains warehouse staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control processes.
- Demonstrated experience in a warehouse environment utilizing technology (e.g. layout, slotting, scanning, bin locations, etc.)
- Leadership – ability to influence others to perform their jobs effectively and to be responsible for making decisions.
- Management Skills – Ability to organize and direct oneself and effectively supervise others.
- Accountability – Ability to accept responsibility and account for his/her actions
- Time Management – Ability to utilize the available time to organize and complete work within given deadlines

- 2 years of warehouse/distribution, logistics, and delivery experience preferred.
Salary : $48,000 - $55,000
