Authorization Specialist
Duties:
- Verify insurance coverage and eligibility
- Obtain pre-authorization and ensure proper documentation is submitted
- Communicate with insurance companies to resolve any issues or discrepancies
- Maintain accurate records of authorizations and follow-up on pending cases
- Stay updated on insurance policies, guidelines, and industry changes
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a medical office.
- Knowledge of insurance plans and authorization processes
-Experience in Benefits Verification
-Knowledge of ECW electronic medical records a plus
- Recent experience (past 2-3years) in otainin authorizations, minimum 2 years
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document information
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in using computer systems and software for data entry and record keeping
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively

Pay: $16.47 - $19.84 per hour
