POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for a service-oriented and client-focused Sales Consultant to join our growing team. The Sales Consultant will be responsible for providing our clients exceptional customer service that will keep clients coming back to our salons time and time again. This position will also be responsible for creating perfect wellness plans for clients, ensuring clients feel welcomed each and every visit, hitting sales targets for the salon, promoting salon services and offerings, and upholding our core values. This individual should have superb interpersonal skills and the ability to address and resolve any client concerns and provide support on specific products or services. The Sales Consultant will play a key role in ensuring clients have an exceptional salon experience. This position will report directly to the Salon Manager.

OBJECTIVES

  • Provide outstanding customer service and go above and beyond for each and every client 
  • Drive client retention loyalty through the following: 
    • Listen and learn about the clients 
    • Address clients by first name 
    • Make clients feel welcomed each and every visit 
    • Ensure clients feel values throughout their visit 
  • Enforce and follow all state and federal regulations around sunbed use and UV exposure
  • Create Perfect Tan Plans for clients by matching them with the appropriate autopay plans and products that fit their individual skin types and tanning goals 
  • Meet daily KPI's and monthly/quarterly salon sales targets 
  • Meet minimum sales performance standards around per client average, autopay plans, and product sales
  • Promote salon services, upcoming events, and retail products to hit targets
  • Maintain cleanliness of salon by sanitizing sunbeds, booths, spa equipment, and cleaning service rooms after each client in accordance with our 100% Cleanliness Guarantee to ensure salon is clean and well-maintained at all times
  • Be a contributing member of the sales team in revenue, culture, and brand image
  • Uphold and adhere to Slick Rock Tanning and Spa’s core values 
  • Complete required training in CardoneU (3 modules) daily on assigned working shifts 
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned

  • Demonstrates proficient computer skills and a deep understanding of MS Office Suite, Windows, Google Suite, or similar software programs
  • Ability to prioritize and plan work activities and use time efficiently
  • Ability to inspire the trust of others and work with integrity to uphold organizational values
  • Demonstrates persistence and ability to overcomes obstacles
  • Exhibits sound and accurate judgment and supports and explains reasoning for decisions

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 2 years of experience in customer service required

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Prolonged periods standing, walking, bending, or kneeling
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs at a time

  • 8 hour shifts
