We have an opening for a Manufacturing Engineer in our Andover, MA innovation center. The ideal candidate possesses both technical expertise and an innate passion to build. You will play a critical role in creating and refining processes in order to improve manufacturing processes and productivity.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain work instructions and manufacturing specifications
- Identify and recommend methods for improving assembly worker efficiency and reducing waste of materials and utilities
- Perform time-studies on new and existing product lines
- Organizing production floor builds for engineering prototypes.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to facilitate production process and evaluate potential changes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in either Industrial or Mechanical Engineering
- 2-3 years' of engineering experience
- Ability to trouble shoot issues with production assembly parts and equipment
- Experience with the design and creation of fixtures and tooling
- Lean, Six Sigma experience preferred.
