What are the responsibilities and job description for the Valet Driver/Service Department Porter position at Sloane Automotive?
Sloane Toyota Glenside has immediate openings for a valet driver- this is a Full Time position with weekday hours and some Saturdays required.
- Our valet staff greet our customers upon arrival to the dealership and handle the intake process of parking customer vehicles and retrieving them upon customer departure.
- Ideal candidates will be courteous and well-mannered with a current valid driver's license and a pleasant customer service-first attitude.
- Our valets work within our service department and are a special point of contact to our customers.
- All qualified candidates will radiate a positive energy, have a neat appearance and possess a thorough understanding of customer service.
As a Valet Driver , you are expected to:
- Welcome and greet guests
- Be friendly and customer service focused!
- Parallel and reverse park cars
- Deliver vehicles to and from guests efficiently and safely
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
- Be reliable
- Able to multi-task and work under pressure
- Able to walk and stand for long periods of time as well as work outside and inside
- Do other duties as assigned; general housekeeping
Qualifications:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Current, valid driver’s license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
- Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Prior automotive experience preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Must pass background check and drug screen
