Slusser’s Green Thumb, Inc., a family-owned business with over 40 years of excellence in central Indiana as a Landscape Contractor, is seeking an experienced Truck and Equipment Diesel Technician.
This role involves maintaining and repairing trucks and equipment using diagnostic and specialty tools (provided by the company).
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical/mechanical repairs and preventive maintenance
- Use diagnostic tools and software for troubleshooting
- Conduct daily safety checks and complete work orders
- Research and request spare parts
- Collaborate with scheduling and production teams
Qualifications:
- Full assortment of tools to complete repairs associated with position
- Diesel tech experience
- Knowledge of diagnostic software, OE scan tools
- Strong communication and punctuality
- Must have the physical ability to: climb, stoop, bend, squat, twist, frequently lift up to 50 lbs. stretch, drive/sit, utilize hands, and vision abilities
- Valid drivers license
- High School Diploma, GED
- Pre-employment drug screen required
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States required.
