Job Title: Veterinary Technician (LVT)

As a Veterinary Technician at Small Door, you will be part of a supportive and collaborative network invested in your growth. You will work in state-of-the-art facilities with strong doctor:nurse staffing ratios, and have the added support of a 24/7 telehealth team and dedicated call center.
Responsibilities:
- Triage patients and recognize medical emergencies and illnesses
- Assess patients and record vitals and assist doctors with diagnostics
- Complete treatments as instructed by the doctor
- Provide basic husbandry and nursing care
- Monitor changes in patients and provide compassionate care
- Perform tasks such as taking blood, placing catheters, and running in-house labs
Requirements:
- 1 years of experience as a LVT
- Availability to work weekends (Saturday or Sunday)
- Comfortable with computers and online tools
- Strong enough to lift 50 lbs
- A thoughtful and fearless team player
