Assistant Manager - Retail Small Threads Children's Consignment

Small Threads is hiring Assistant Store Managers for our children's consignment retail stores in Issaquah, Redmond, Kirkland, and Mill Creek. We're a growing retail company with 16 years in business, expanding from 4 to 50 stores nationwide.

Our stores serve families with young children, so patience and positivity are essential. This is a growth opportunity - we promote Assistant Managers to Store Manager positions.
Assistant Manager Responsibilities:
- Supervise retail staff and daily store operations
- Provide customer service and resolve customer complaints
- Train new retail associates on POS systems and procedures
- Manage inventory, merchandising, and visual displays
- Open and close retail store following procedures
- Assist Store Manager with scheduling and staff development
- Drive retail sales and meet performance metrics
- Process consignment intake and maintain quality standards
Retail Assistant Manager Requirements:
- 2 years retail management, supervisor, or team lead experience
- Experience in high-volume retail or restaurant ($1M annual sales)
- Customer service excellence with patience for families and children
- Ability to lift 30 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Reliable transportation to store locations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in children's retail, clothing, or family services
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Previous experience with consignment or resale retail
- Management experience in food service or hospitality
