What You’ll Do
- Diagnose and repair commercial kitchen equipment, including:
- Cooking equipment (grills, fryers, ovens)
- Refrigeration systems (coolers, freezers)
- Dishwashing and specialty foodservice systems
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems
- Work directly with restaurants, hotels, and commercial kitchens
- Use service documentation and maintain accurate inventory
- Follow safety protocols and promote service offerings
Requirements
Minimum:
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 year experience in:
- Commercial appliance repair
- HVAC or refrigeration
- Military technical service
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Able to work on-call (nights/weekends) and travel occasionally
- Ability to lift 70 lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined or elevated spaces
Preferred:
- EPA certification, CFESA credentials, or similar licenses
- Experience servicing commercial cooking or refrigeration equipment
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
