- Position Overview
We are seeking a driven and disciplined Sales Representative to lead our business development efforts for
Smart Digital’s core offerings and the Sentry PODS platforms. This individual will play a pivotal role in growing
our footprint across industries such as construction, oil & gas, solar energy, government, education, and
logistics.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, networking, and*
inbound lead conversion.
- Present, promote, and sell security solutions, including Sentry PODS and integrated access control*
systems, to prospective clients.
- Understand customer requirements and deliver tailored solutions that address security needs and*
operational challenges.
- Conduct site visits, virtual demos, and presentations for prospective clients.*
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification to closing and onboarding.*
- Maintain accurate CRM records (HubSpot) for pipeline management, forecasting, and activity tracking.*
- Work cross-functionally with the engineering and operations teams to ensure seamless project delivery.*
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.*
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in security, construction technology, industrial*
equipment, or surveillance systems.
- Proven success in full-cycle sales, from lead generation to closing.*
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.*
- Tech-savvy with the ability to understand and articulate the value of high-tech hardware and software*
systems.
- Familiarity with HubSpot CRM or similar tools.*
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regionally (as needed).*
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling to construction companies, utility providers, government agencies, or large-scale*
enterprise clients.
- Background in physical security, electronic surveillance, or access control systems.*
- Military, tactical, or security industry experience a plus.*
