Smart From The Start Childcare in Clifton Heights is looking for some experienced teachers to join our team. WE HAVE MULTIPLE POSITIONS AVAILABLE in our younger toddler room and older toddler room.. We are independently owned center with a philosophy of learning through play. We are currently a STAR 3 in the Keystone Stars Program, so we take teaching very seriously. We are a caring and compassionate school with one of the best teams around. Our daycare is very well known, and we are looking for the perfect candidates to assist us in our commitment to providing high quality care.
Preferred candidate is professional, caring, and truly excited to spend time with young children. This person should be committed to making each day and every opportunity a positive one.
Successful candidates must have:
- Experience working with young children
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- The ability to and interact with children, parents and staff
- Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices
- A high level of creativity and an enthusiasm for teaching.
- Bring a personal creative touch to the classroom
- The ability to follow licensing requirements
- The ability to follow school policies for early childhood development
- Must pass all required background checks and meet all other job descriptions criteria
- Child development assessments
