Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Developer with 6 to 9 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in MongoDB RDBMS/SQL/PL/SQL Basics Azure Cosmos DB and Python. This role is hybrid with no travel required and operates during day shifts. The Sr. Developer will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our database systems ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust database systems using MongoDB RDBMS/SQL/PL/SQL Basics and Azure Cosmos DB.
• Design and implement database schemas tables and stored procedures to support application development.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Optimize database performance by analyzing and tuning queries indexes and database configurations.
• Ensure data integrity and security by implementing appropriate measures and best practices.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for database-related issues.
• Develop and maintain Python scripts for data manipulation extraction and reporting.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for new features and enhancements.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for database designs configurations and procedures.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the use of best practices.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.
• Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on best practices and technical solutions.

Qualifications

• Possess a strong understanding of MongoDB and its ecosystem.
• Demonstrate proficiency in RDBMS/SQL/PL/SQL Basics.
• Have hands-on experience with Azure Cosmos DB.
• Show expertise in Python programming for data manipulation and automation.
• Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Display excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Have a proactive attitude towards learning and adopting new technologies.
• Experience with hybrid work models is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is nice to have.
• Knowledge of data security best practices is essential.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required.
• A bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.

Certifications Required

• Certified MongoDB Developer Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate Python Institute PCEP
