We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. Duties
- Assist dentists during various procedures, including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, and prosthodontics.
- Prepare and maintain the dental treatment area, ensuring it is clean and organized.
- Take and develop X-rays as needed, adhering to safety protocols.
- Record medical documentation accurately, including patient histories and treatment plans.
- Monitor vital signs of patients before, during, and after procedures.
- Perform four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during treatments.
- Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures and addressing any concerns.
- Manage sterilization of instruments and equipment in compliance with health regulations.
- Assist with scheduling appointments and managing patient records within the dental clinic.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not mandatory; we welcome candidates eager to learn.
- Familiarity with medical coding and documentation is a plus.
- Knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and equipment is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
