Dental Assistant

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting our dental professionals in delivering high-quality dental services. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who is passionate about general dentistry and has experience with various dental technologies.

Duties

• Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
• Record patient medical histories, vital signs, and other relevant information accurately.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care.
• Manage patient scheduling, including appointments for follow-up visits.
• Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Eaglesoft.
• Support pediatric patients by creating a friendly and comforting atmosphere during visits.

Skills

• Proficient in dental assisting practices with experience in pediatrics preferred.
• Familiarity with dental software systems especially Eaglesoft
• Knowledge of medical imaging techniques and the ability to perform X-ray procedures.
• Experience with 3D scanning technology is a plus.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members.
• Ability to take vital signs accurately and respond to patient needs promptly.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Pay: $28.00 - $33.00 per hour
