Seeking full time Gardener for small, women-owned gardening company in Portland.
Smiling Gardens provides garden design, revitalization, planting, pruning, ongoing maintenance and more. We work with plants and soil with an ecological mindset. We do not mow lawns. We are a close-knit group looking to add a positive, adaptable, and reliable person to our team.
Position starts immediately through December, with potential for long-term employment for the right candidate. Experience or interest in gardening, horticulture or plant identification is preferred, but willing to train the right person who is passionate and eager to learn.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs and be willing to work outside daily, in all weather conditions. Excellent communication skills are essential. Drivers license, good driving record and reliable car required to drive to and from residential job sites in the Portland metro area.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
