Salary: $150,000-190,000 Bonus
Actuarial Summary:
We are seeking a Consulting Actuary specializing in the life and annuity business, with additional expertise in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and financial reporting. This role involves providing expert actuarial analysis, strategic guidance, and innovative solutions for clients. The ideal candidate will leverage their deep expertise in life insurance and annuity products, financial modeling, M&A transactions, and regulatory frameworks to support product development, risk management, financial reporting, and transaction-related actuarial due diligence.
Key Responsibilities & Qualifications:
- Perform valuation and pricing for life insurance and annuity products.
- Utilize actuarial modeling software, such as AXIS, for financial projections and M&A analysis.
- Conduct actuarial due diligence for M&A transactions, including liability assessment and financial impact analysis.
- Develop and implement risk management and ALM strategies to support business objectives.
- Support regulatory compliance, including statutory, GAAP, and STAT financial reporting.
- Analyze financial statements and reserves to assess profitability and capital adequacy.
- Provide actuarial guidance on product development, market competitiveness, and strategic growth initiatives.
- Communicate complex actuarial and financial concepts to clients, senior management, and other stakeholders effectively.
