What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) position at Smith Village?



Pay starts at: $19 per hour (Pay is based on experience)

Pay differentials:
PM or Night Shifts: Additional $2 shift differential
Plus, an additional 10% Weekend Differential for all shifts


Current Open Roles:

Day Shift Role:
  • Part-time 8-hour shifts 6:30AM - 2:30PM
PM shift roles:
  • Part-time 2:30PM - 10:30AM
Night shift roles: 
  • Part-time 10:30PM - 6:30AM Every weekends

What you bring to the table:

  • Must be IDPH Certified Nursing Assistant
  • Must be CPR certified
  • Must possess good computer skills.
  • Long Term Care experience preferred.
  • Demonstrates caring and compassionate nature
  • CNA candidate must be a team player, have a positive outlook and excellent problem solving skills.
  • Maintains neat, professional appearance

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assists with all ADL's
  • Tasks required to maintain good hygiene, grooming, comfort and the overall well-being of residents
  • Charts all care, supplies, etc. using electronic medical records system
  • Answers all call lights promptly
