In Operations, you would be on the front-line of the business; overseeing production, tracking product yields, and making necessary adjustments. Ensuring that safety and USDA health standards are met throughout all steps of the manufacturing process. You would be a key player in upholding the trusted quality in which Smithfield, Eckrich, Nathan's Famous, and our other brands are known to possess.
Provides Operations support and effective Operations project management for key business growth, brand maintenance and productivity improvement initiatives. As the key Supply Chain resource for assigned business teams, the Associate Product Integration Manager will ensure effective use of resources and communication of priorities across the Supply Chain functions for assigned businesses.
Core ResponsibilitiesPrimary operations interface with business channels on new products and commercialization projects for assigned product groups/plants.
Acts as the Operations lead for cost improvement efforts for assigned manufacturing locations, ensuring target achievement through project leadership.
Develops and implements project management practices, processes, and metrics surrounding operational improvement.
Manages and drives business simplification and continuous improvement efforts for assigned product groups and facilities.
Provides Project Management support to assigned plants and projects. Works with equipment manufacturers in conjunction with engineering as operations liaison.
Works in partnership with Continuous Improvement on key initiatives.
Develops quality improvement strategies for assigned product groups.
Benchmarks key competitive set and food industry for new technology and productivity strategies.
Ensures projects are completed on time and within established quality standards.

QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals to perform the essential functions.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Business or related field and 3 years of project management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience, required.
Experience acting as a lead by providing training, guidance or mentoring to less experienced staff or managing processes and projects, preferred.
Experience in lean manufacturing a plus.
Prior experience with USDA, OSHA, HACCP, and GMP.
Excellent Project Management skills.
Experience with Microsoft office applications, SAP experience a plus.
Must be able to travel up to 25%.
Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment.
Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.
