Job Summary
The role of the Finance Clerk is to provide assistance to the Finance Coordinator and the Business & Records Director in keeping accurate finance records.
Functions and Responsibilities
- Track donor giving and print out receipts for all donations.
- Create checks for the business accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly reports, etc.
- Maintain current, organized files on all business accounts.
- Prepare and make bank deposits.
- Reconcile bank statements.
- Receive & sort accounting mail.
- Maintain resident’s allowance and personal funds records.
- Any other duties assigned by the Business & Records Director.
Position Requirements
- Must be 18 years old.
- Must have a minimum High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalency.
- Must have skills in typing, bookkeeping, and computers.
- Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.
- Must be able to keep confidentialities and work with the utmost integrity.
- Must maintain a pleasant and professional attitude when working with people.
- Must be able to effectively work in a team setting.
Reports to
The Business and Records Director.
Salary Information
$14.50-$18.50 Hourly (weighted by level of education) with a .50/hour pay increase after a 90-day probationary period.

Work Schedule
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (8 am - 5 pm EST). Target - 24 hours per week.
