What You’ll Do
- Manage and oversee ISO documents and reporting
- Conduct internal/external audits. Travel required.
- Participate in registration/surveillance audits.
- Ensure corrective actions are properly generated and effectively closed.
- Ensure document and record controls are maintained
- Conduct “Management Review” as part of ISO 9001 requirements.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 or other quality management system preferred but not required.
- Promotes a culture of quality through process and procedural improvement
- Work collaboratively with General Manager – Quality to enhance and maintain quality system.
- Participate in the identification and implementation of continuous process improvement activities.
- Provide Quality training as directed by Plant Manager / General Manager – Quality.
- Prior experience in an industrial/manufacturing/machining environment preferred but not required.
- Two-year College or university program certificate with 2 years of experience, or 4 year college or university degree.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
- Computer Skills: Microsoft Office Suite, Ability to learn ERP system, Spreadsheet and Word Processing Software, Adobe Acrobat Professional, MS Access, Photo editor software, Outlook, Microsoft Visio, PowerPoint
