We are a family owned and operated Airport seeking a part-time, potentially full-time, Aircraft Maintenance Facility Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant to join our dedicated team working in our busy parts & maintenance facility. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Payroll Preparation: Handles preparation of payroll bi-monthly.
Bookkeeping tasks: Tasks include filing, data entry, invoicing, ordering, payables, receivables, processing purchase orders, processing work orders, collections, and other tasks as assigned.
Light Auditing: Conduct periodic reviews and audits to ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.
IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE:
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of financial record-keeping.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact clearly with management and staff.
Experience: Proven bookkeeping experience or related field. Familiarity with standard accounting principles and payroll practices.
Education: A degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred but not required.
Software Proficiency: Experience with full accounting suite software and proficiency in Microsoft 365, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of financial record-keeping.
Strong analytical and organizational skills: Able to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently.
-Computer work using software programs specific to aircraft maintenance, parts and fuel sales (training provided)
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
-Must be at least 18 years old
-Possess a valid WA driver license and a good driving record
-Minimum keyboarding 35 WPM
-Experience with ten-key calculator
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
-We are open for business 7 days a week 8 am – 5 pm
-Schedule will be a minimum of 20 hours per week and up to 40 hours per week
