The Pearl is looking to hire a manager to be the face of our restaurant and help drive sales throughout the Corpus Christi, TX area. We are looking for an enthusiastic team player that enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and loves helping customers.
Responsibilities:
- Supervising serving staff to ensure that they provide high-quality service to customers.
- Helping hosts manage reservations and respond to customer inquiries, either in person or on the phone
- Training hosts, servers, and other restaurant staff on restaurant processes and on how to greet customers and provide excellent customer service.
- Greeting customers as they enter the restaurant and providing them with assistance if the serving staff are busy.
- Organizing and implementing work schedules for front-of-house employees
- Ensuring all employees follow the applicable health and safety rules and regulations when handling food and serving customers.
- Making sure that the restaurant remains profitable by reviewing restaurant sales in all areas (alcohol and food) on a regular basis.
- Managing suppliers, inventory, and cash registers
- Maintaining cleanliness of the restaurant and helping monitor any equipment issues or needs.
- Great customer service skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and be a team player.
- High school degree or equivalent
- Ability to pass a background check with no felony convictions in the last 10 years or pass a background check with no military background convictions.
- A minimum of 2 years or more experience with front of the house management.
