Position Summary
- Under the supervision of the Director of Marketing & Entertainment, provide analysis to property management of Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe gaming and resort business entities that support critical business decisions in the development and implementation of strategies and tactics for revenue-producing activities. Help create programs, plans, and promotions, based on database information and analytics that optimize effectiveness and efficiency. Provide analysis on the performance of promotions. Create models to help determine the potential revenue of marketing campaigns.
- Develop reports consolidating and utilizing all Soaring Eagle software resources including, but not limited to: CDS, SMS-Host, ATM, Micros, Delphi, Datavision, and Shopper Track to optimize performance in revenue-generating departments or business entities.
- Provide revenue and trend analyses for Marketing campaigns and initiatives.
- Work closely with IT to identify and implement reporting tools and software.
- Develop, test, maintain, grow, cleanse and harness casino and resort customer databases.
- Identify critical technology needs of Marketing, Access Club, and Player Development. Document and assist IT with the implementation of those technologies.
- Provide data to Marketing and Senior Management that identifies those guests` most profitable for events and promotions.
- Create and distribute reports to optimize the performance of the Casino Host program.
- Produce event pro-formas and provide data to Marketing and Senior Management regarding the effectiveness of the event.
- Create mailing lists for all direct mail offers.
- Create and implement measures to track direct mail performance with a focus on ROI and trends to optimize and continually improve promotions performance (increase response rate and play, decrease costs).
- Track, analyze, and report carded play and trends (Slot/TG, Markets, DOW, Gender, Age, etc.) for Marketing.
- Participate in the development of marketing plans and other internal documents as assigned for use within the organization.
- Work with Senior Management to analyze budgets including costs, revenue, and recommend optimization to facilitate business decisions.
- Analyze, optimize, and manage customer feedback process (surveys, feedback forms, etc.).
- Analyze projects and programs as directed by CEO, CFO, or Director of Marketing, Entertainment & Sales.
- Create reports for other departments upon approval by CEO, CFO, or Director of Marketing, Entertainment & Sales.
- Provide excellent customer service for all internal and external customers of the operations at all times. Provide solutions for customer concerns and continually focus on customer service as our top priority.
- Must maintain strict confidentiality and present a positive, professional demeanor and image at all times.

- Bachelor`s degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field of study required.
- Two years of marketing experience with a preference for casino marketing experience.
- One year of experience in the management and analysis of a database system with a preference for the management and analysis of a casino database system.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license to meet the employment eligibility requirements as they pertain to the position.
- Experience in the operations of promotions, Access Club, and player retention programs.
- Other casino marketing area experience.
- Native American preference shall apply to all positions.
- Knowledge of the hotel and gaming division, its governing structure, and documents.
- Knowledge and ability to efficiently and effectively develop, manage and monitor program budgets.
- Knowledge of tribal, federal, and state accounting, purchasing, and auditing policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of business English, proper spelling, grammar, punctuation, and basic arithmetic.
- Knowledge of principles and practices of public relations, promotions, and marketing in a customer service-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of computer utilization in marketing/business operations.
- Knowledge of and demonstrated working knowledge of databases and database structures.
- Skill in database mining, cross-tabulation, and list management.
- Skill in operating business computers and office machines, including in a Windows environment, specifically Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
- Skill in problem-solving and time management.
- Skill in preparing, reviewing, and analyzing operational letters and financial reports.
- Ability to write reports and business correspondence.

- Frequent walking and standing in a smoking environment and contact with the general public. Constant visual stimulation via neon lights on slot machines, repeatedly changing machine video screens, static or flashing signs throughout the casino, and constant machine and crowd noise.
- Extended hours and irregular shifts may be required.
Salary : $43
