Soccer Shots Pittsburgh is looking for a full-time Youth Soccer Coach to work in the Greater Pittsburgh area!
For those in the Pittsburgh West region, coaching locations include Moon, Robinson, McKees Rocks, Beaver, Aliquippa, Sewickley, Oakdale, Bridgeville, Scott Township, Wexford, and Greentree, among others. Given that the position is full-time and drive time is compensated, there will also be occasional instances in which you will be scheduled to work at locations outside of the Pittsburgh West region.

Responsibilities:
- Coach upwards of 30-35 sessions per week. Session range in length from 30 minutes to 1 hour. Full-time coaches must have the ability and willingness coach several sessions in a day, multiple days per week. Coaching locations will vary; local driving is required.
- Staff development & evaluation
- Staff training
- Curriculum review
- Community outreach / public relations
- Marketing - partake in seasonal marketing efforts including distribution of marketing flyers and yard signs.
- Communication - respond to communications within 24 hours of sending
Preferred Experience and Education
- Bachelor's Degree
- Knowledge of early childhood education / physical education / recreation / athletics and development best practices preferred
- Technologically savvy - experience with Google Drive / Sheets / Docs
Work Hours
This is a full-time, exempt position. Soccer Shots operates year-round and offers five seasons: spring, summer, fall, fall 2.0, and winter; each season lasts 9 to 12 weeks. We have private (daycare / elementary school / preschool) sessions in the mornings and in the mid/late afternoons Monday through Friday, and public programs (open to the general public) held Monday through Thursday evenings and on Saturday and Sunday mornings. **As such, a mix of daytime, weeknight, and weekend availability is required for this position.**
**IMPORTANT - PLEASE NOTE: Many of our staff members work remotely; as such, we need a reliable person who can work alone and who is a self-motivated, self-regulated, driven, and goal-oriented individual. Much of our communication takes place via email, text messaging, phone calls, and online video conferencing. Given this, the candidate MUST be motivated, organized, communicative, and self-sufficient. This position is NOT suitable for those who require a significant amount of oversight or highly structured work environment.

- Starting salary range of $28,000 to $34,000 per year, negotiable based on experience and qualifications
- Additional monthly stipend for gas.
