Soccer Shots is a program that introduces soccer to children ages 2-8 at preschools, day care centers, private and elementary schools, as well as local public programs at parks around the Bay Area. We are expanding and seeking enthusiastic instructors to help us run sessions.

DETAILS
We are seeking part-time instructors for our Soccer Shots team. Coaches can coach anywhere between 5-15 sessions per week depending on experience and availability. Coaches must give an 8-12 week commitment for the season. Classes are held throughout the day, between 9:00am-5:00pm. Each class is 30-60 minutes long. We provide all of the necessary training, equipment, and curriculum materials.

In addition to the above, a successful candidate must successfully complete a full FBI & DOJ clearance through Live Scan.

LOCATION
We are seeking coaches to cover the Marin County/San Francisco/Berkeley/Oakland/Alameda areas. San Francisco-based coaches are not required to commute outside of San Francisco.

Hours between M-F, 8:30am-5:30pm (and Sat/Sun 9am-1pm)

Weekend classes are held only in Berkeley, Oakland, & San Francisco
REQUIREMENTS
Responsible & Professional | communicate professionally, timeliness, clean appearance, self-assured, dependable
Experienced & Enthusiastic | proven experience engaging and leading young children
Fun & Creative | comfortable being goofy and imaginative with young children
Patient & Empathic | must be a patient person, willing to work through behavior and learning challenges
Soccer & Athletic Know-How | Soccer skill as a player or instructor is preferred, but not required
Clear Background | must pass a Live Scan (with clear record) and health screening
Education | 12 accredited ECE units in Early Childhood Development are preferred, but not necessary
