Overview
Soft Tech Consulting is seeking a highly motivated, self-directed individual to fill the role of a Senior PeopleSoft Administrator. The designated candidate for this position will join a collaborative team environment, providing leadership necessary toward the successful delivery of the project deliverables and provide effective communication to all levels of staff for reporting design/development.The place of performance for this contract is Washington, DC.

Responsibilities
- Apply PeopleTools patches & upgrades using delivered Oracle Support DPK software & PeopleSoft Change Assistant.
- Apply necessary patches to underlying PeopleSoft technology including Java, WebLogic, Tuxedo on Windows/Linux
- Administer PeopleSoft HCM on Oracle Database on Linux
- Administer PeopleSoft PeopleTools on Windows Server 2019
- Create/Maintain scripts to start/stop/restart PeopleSoft services on Linux
- Configure and administer Phire.
- Manage and patch Red Hat Linux Enterprise 8.
- Manage and maintain SSL certificates for production and non-production sites.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- 7yrs experience required for following skills:
- Must be able to apply PeopleTools patches & upgrades using delivered Oracle Support DPK software & PeopleSoft Change Assistant.
- Must be able to apply necessary patches to underlying PeopleSoft technology including Java, WebLogic, Tuxedo on Windows/Linux
- Must have experience administering PeopleSoft HCM on Oracle Database on Linux
- Must have experience administering PeopleSoft PeopleTools on Windows Server 2019
- Must be familiar with applying PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM) packages to the PeopleSoft HCM Application using Change Assistant.
- Expert at creating/maintaining scripts to start/stop/restart PeopleSoft services on Linux
- Must be familiar with configuring and administrating Phire.
- Must be familiar with Elasticsearch and Opensearch on Linux
- Must be able to manage and maintain SSL certificates for production and non-production sites.
- Experience managing and patching Red Hat Linux Enterprise 8.
- Experience with AWS Cloud Engineering.
- Minimum of 2 years AWS cloud engineering and Docker containerization
- PeopleSoft PeopleTools (intermediate)
- Oracle PeopleSoft HCM (intermediate)
- PeopleSoft Administration (advanced)
- PeopleSoft Technical Architecture (advanced)
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux (advanced)
- Must be able to work independently with little to no oversight
- Able to develop strong client relationships.
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Detail oriented.
