Overview:
WORK LOCATION: FORT BELVOIR, VA
Soft Tech Consulting is seeking a highly motivated, self-directed individual to fill the role of Task Order Project Manager. The selected individual will join a collaborative team environment where they will provide expertise and guidance for the project, including defining the projects objectives, and assist in coordinating the efforts of team members in order to deliver the project according to plan. Key to the success of this position is the successful delivery of projects and effective communication to all levels of staff for reporting project status.

Responsibilities:
- Serves as the project manager for a large, complex task order (or a group of task orders affecting the same system) and shall assist the Program Manager in working with theGovernment Contracting Officer (KO), the task order-level Task Order Managers, Government management personnel and customer agency representatives.
- Under the guidance of the Program Manager, responsible for the overall management of the specific task order(s) and ensuring that the technical solutions and schedules in the task order are implemented in a timely manner.
- Minimum Requirement:
- Must have Project Management certification (i.e. Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, other recognized certification, etc.) plus
- Five (5) years relevant experience and
- Five (5) years of leadership experience with progressively higher responsibility in the public and/or private sector in the IT and/or consulting fields.
- Minimum Education:
- BS or BA or four (4) additional years of related experience.

Required Skills:

Must possess IT-II security clearance or have a current National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC).
- Relevant certification from a nationally recognized authority.
- DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAM Level III.

- Must be able to work independently.
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
