Inpatient Coder

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for an Inpatient Coder for a Contract assignment with one of our premier Healthcare clients in Weatherford, TX. (100% Remote CST hours)

Responsibilities :

• Inpatient coders handling a spectrum of cases—transplants, vascular, cardiology, neuro, etc.
• Productivity expected: 1.1 charts per hour on average, but variable depending on case complexity. Evaluated monthly, as daily productivity can fluctuate based on patient length of stay and pending accounts.
  
  

Required Skills:

• Minimum preferred: 3–5 years, ideally 5 years, specifically in academic or acute care settings.
• Required: CCS, RHIT, or RHIA.
• Must use Epic EHR.
