We are currently seeking qualified candidates for a Project Manager position for our Platform Engineering team which is responsible for designing and building tools and workflows for our internal software engineering teams. These systems will allow them to build and deploy applications effortlessly, allowing them to focus on building business functionality for their users. Your work will directly support enterprise-wide initiatives helping teams across the organization streamline operations, improve reliability, and accelerate delivery.
In this role, you will play a central role in ensuring our internal development initiatives progress smoothly, predictably, and transparently. You will be responsible for maintaining project plans and deliverable schedules, facilitating communication across teams, and proactively identifying and raising concerns when risks or blockers arise. You will partner closely with engineering leads to help clear roadblocks, drive accountability, and ensure teams have what they need to execute successfully.
In addition to overseeing internal delivery, you will help coordinate the broader firm‑wide adoption of our new tools, platforms, and engineering standards. This includes engaging with partner teams, tracking onboarding progress, aligning stakeholders to timelines and expectations, and ensuring deadlines are clearly communicated and met. You will also develop and maintain dashboards and progress‑tracking mechanisms that help users and leadership stay on schedule, monitor deliverables, and understand adoption status across the organization. Your work will be instrumental in enabling teams to benefit from our platform capabilities and in accelerating the transformation of how engineering is done across the enterprise.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive Project Delivery: Oversee planning, execution, and tracking of Platform Engineering initiatives, ensuring internal development teams remain aligned with timelines, deliverables, and scope.
- Maintain Schedules & Deliverables: Build and manage project plans, monitor progress, and proactively identify risks, delays, or dependencies that may impact outcomes.
- Raise & Manage Issues: Surface concerns and blockers early, work with engineering leads and cross functional partners to facilitate timely resolution and ensure transparent communication of impacts.
- Coordinate Platform Adoption: Lead firm wide adoption efforts for new internal platforms, tools, and workflows—engaging stakeholders, tracking onboarding progress, and ensuring teams meet adoption and migration milestones.
- Drive Cross Team Alignment: Coordinate dependencies across engineering, APS, and partner teams, ensuring decisions and sequencing are well communicated and execution remains synchronized.
- Develop Dashboards & Reporting: Create and maintain dashboards, status reports, and metrics to help teams and leadership stay on track and make data driven decisions.
- Facilitate Agile Practices: Support agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, PI planning, retrospectives) to keep project execution organized and predictable.
- Support Strategic Initiatives: Ensure project outcomes align with broader Platform Engineering and Technology Strategy goals, including standardization, workflow optimization, and improved engineering efficiency.
- Stakeholder Communication: Provide clear, consistent updates to engineering leadership, partners, and business stakeholders on project status, risks, and recommendations.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience: 5–7 years of project or program management experience in technology or engineering environments, ideally supporting platform, developer tooling, or infrastructure related initiatives.
- Technical Fluency: Strong understanding of modern SDLC practices, developer workflows, CI/CD pipelines, cloud native tooling, and cross team engineering dependencies.
- Delivery Expertise: Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi team projects with numerous technical and organizational dependencies.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical detail into clear, concise updates for diverse audiences.
- Risk & Issue Management: Proven capability in identifying risks early, driving mitigation plans, and maintaining transparent tracking across teams.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to build dashboards, metrics, and reporting to monitor timelines, adoption progress, and engineering efficiency.
- Collaboration & Influence: Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to align engineering, architecture, and product teams toward shared goals.
- Agile Knowledge: Experience working within agile frameworks, supporting ceremonies, and coordinating work across multiple streams.
- Self Starter: Highly organized, independent, and capable of managing competing priorities in a fast moving engineering environment.
