Opportunity

We’re looking for a new team member to join our family-oriented, flexible work environment. As a Packer, you will be responsible for properly packaging finished materials per the customers specifications, the final check on quality, and supporting Machine Operators.

What we offer:

• This is a full-time position. Hours of work are Monday-Friday 5:00 AM-1:00 PM.
• Starting pay is between $15.25 per hour.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist the machine operator as needed
• Maintain the shrink wrappers, perform daily maintenance as necessary
• Has basic mathematic understanding and can use a calculator
• Package finished roll per specifications and maintain an accurate count on finished rolls and cartons
• Maintain a clean work area with routine housekeeping throughout the shift.
• Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the machine operator or supervisor

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.

The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
