The Role:

The Email Marketing Specialist will be responsible for the execution, delivery, and analysis of all email marketing campaigns, including but not limited to campaign set up, audience segmentation, testing, scheduling, and reporting. We’re looking for a strong marketing background with experience in high volume sending. They will work closely with the Marketing Operations Specialist and cross-functional departments to ensure brand integrity and optimized email marketing efforts.

Responsibilities:

  • Create, schedule, and monitor a wide variety of email marketing campaigns, including monthly newsletter, webinars, events, product updates, etc.
  • Execute inbound marketing email requests and work with email stakeholders, including content team, design team, and non-marketing teams to execute emails
  • Optimize campaigns' performance by running A/B email tests, tracking, analyzing, and publicizing results with the team
  • Provide regular campaign performance reports that include opens, clicks, unsubscribes, etc.
  • Collaborate with email stakeholders to confirm and assure quality of all email campaigns, including but not limited to design, layout, copy, and mobile-versions
  • Manage marketing inboxes to field inquiries to correct individuals departments
  • Provide recommendations to martech programs, systems, and processes based on performance, and evolving industry standards and best practices
  • Partner and support Marketing Operations Specialist and Sales Operations to maintain database of prospects and customers who have opted to receive our correspondence, including but not limited to managing forms and email preferences, maintaining data hygiene automations, and importing event lists
  • Assist Marketing Operations Specialist with Marketo to Pardot transition

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing or other business undergraduate degrees (BS, BBA)
  • Strong interest in and a solid understanding of online advertising technology
  • 1 years of relevant work experience
  • Hands-on experience in Marketo and Pardot
  • Detailed knowledge of email regulations, best practices, and compliance internationally in various regulatory regimes (e.g. CAN-SPAM, GDPR, etc.)
  • Experience with segmentation and performance marketing; experience initiating and executing projects and campaigns
  • Proven work experience in growing, engaging with, and analyzing the performance of a large email marketing database
  • Proven ability to execute A/B testing strategies and dynamic content
  • Successful candidates will possess strong verbal and written communication skills, will be self-motivated and able to achieve goals with minimal supervision, and will enjoy working both independently and in collaboration with other team members
  • Detail-oriented, good organizational skills and ability to manage time and multiple tasks
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet the expectations of multiple constituents
