What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Office Coordinator position at SoLa Impact?
JOB SUMMARY
SoLa Impact, a successful opportunity zone private equity fund, is seeking an Office Coordinator. The Office Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies on all matters pertaining to the CEO. The Office Coordinator must be creative and enjoy working within an entrepreneurial environment that is mission-driven, results-driven and community oriented. The ideal individual will have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities. The Office Coordinator will have the ability to work independently on projects, from conception to completion, and must be able to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion.
- Sit at the front desk and greet guests and visitors and guide them to where they need to go;
- Provide general administrative support to the senior management team;
- Assist new applicants who come into the building to apply for positions, including providing them with applications, pens and clipboards along with any reference material they may need, such as telephone directories or Wi-Fi passwords
- Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures)
- Accept and distribute mail and deliveries to recipients;
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges)
- Answer incoming phone calls when needed;
- Handle filing and data entry as requested
- Keep the common areas around the office clean and tidy;
- Assist with lunch and office supplies orders and other office management duties as needed;
