Maintenance Technician - Oakland 34 / Maple Square

Position OverviewOakland 34 is a Senior affordable housing community comprises of 33 units, in Oakland, CA. Maple Square is an Affordable Housing community comprises of 132 unit in Fremont CA. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the overall maintenance of both communities and all areas related to the day‐to‐day maintenance operations of the communities. Who We AreSolari Enterprises, Inc. is a full-service property management company with communities throughout California, specializing in all aspects of multifamily affordable housing since 1993. Duties and Responsibilities:PaintClean carpets, windows, appliancesService appliances, plumbing, electrical fixturesRepair or replace old and faulty partsCheck locksReplace burned-out light bulbs.Conducting regular inspections of grounds, building, plumbing, electrical fixtures, appliances and major equipment:Be familiar with power, water, and gas turnoffs, clean out traps, fire extinguisher and fire hydrants. Post maps of these items.Assist in maintaining inventory of tools, equipment and supplies.Janitorial duties.Report all needed repairs to the site manager.Assist with other types of maintenance when necessary.Other duties as assigned by supervisors. Required Qualifications:Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience as a maintenance technicianConduct corrective, preventive, and emergency maintenance in units and on the propertyExperience in, but not limited to, electrical, dry wall, plumbing, carpentry, and paintingPossession of a valid California driver's licenseProof of auto insuranceReliable transportationStrong commitment to excellence and attention to detailExcellence customer service skills when speaking with residents and vendorsComputer skills for viewing and completing work orders Preferred Qualifications:Specialized certifications, such as HVAC, are desirable. Compensation:$25 HourlyPaid Holidays, Vacation and Sick TimeBenefits401k (Employer Match)EOECompany DescriptionSolari Enterprises, Inc. is a full service property management organization specializing in multifamily affordable housing.
