This position plays a critical role in maintaining inventory accuracy, optimizing workflow, and supporting field teams to ensure timely and successful project completion.Key ResponsibilitiesWarehouse Operations : Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and distributing solar materials and equipment.Ensure proper organization and cleanliness of the warehouse for efficient operations.Manage and maintain a safe, compliant, and organized work environment in alignment with company and industry standards.Inventory Management : Maintain accurate inventory levels by conducting regular cycle counts and audits.Monitor and record stock levels to identify inventory shortages or surpluses.Implement and oversee inventory management systems and processes.Team Leadership : Supervise, train, and motivate warehouse staff to ensure operational efficiency and adherence to safety protocols.Delegate tasks and monitor staff performance to meet productivity goals.Provide ongoing coaching and professional development for team members.Logistics and Coordination : Coordinate with procurement and project teams to ensure timely delivery of materials to job sites.Manage shipments, returns, and exchanges with vendors and suppliers.Maintain accurate records of all warehouse transactions and inventory movements.Safety and Compliance : Enforce adherence to all safety policies and procedures.Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and other applicable regulations.Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions for warehouse staff.QualificationsEducation and Experience : High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field preferred.Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in the solar or construction industry.Skills And Competencies : Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.Leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide staff.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.Knowledge of solar equipment, materials, and industry practices is a plus.Physical Requirements : Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts.Standing, walking, and other physical activities for extended periods.Company DescriptionWe are a leading solar company on a mission to change lives through affordable clean energy, that has been designing and building solar systems since 2001.
