Transportation & Inventory Coordinator

Reports to: Logistics Manager
Job duties & responsibilities:
*Manage incoming orders, route & track shipments, and ensure on time deliveries.
*Verify accuracy of orders by matching them with quantities, lot codes and before dates.
*Manage inventory of stock on hand, code dates, and lots. Reconciliate inventory as needed.
*Handle import shipments from foreign production facilities to US Warehouses. Track inbound shipments, provide instructions to US Customs brokers, and instruct destination warehouses what they will be receiving.
*Gather and maintain import documentation.
*Create inventory reports for management on short-stocked products and aging inventory.
*Problem solve and provide options for transportation challenges.
*Report and provide disposition on OS&D discrepancies.
*Quickly and reliably resolve logistics service issues with confidence, escalating to managers when necessary.
*Contribute to team effort by executing tasks delegated to you as needed.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
*Associates or Bachelor’s degree
*At least 3 years of freight forwarding / inventory management / customs brokerage / or logistics experience. Experience working with 3PL vendors is a plus.
*Good familiarity with Excel, Work, and Outlook.
*Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet critical deadlines. Highly adaptable to change as circumstances evolve.
*Candidate who has worked for a Consumer Packaged Goods / Food Company highly desired.
*Bilingual in English & Spanish is helpful but not required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.50 - $25.00 per hour
