This Position:
The Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe and timely delivery tasks including loading, unloading, order pulling, shipping, returns, driving, pick-ups, and deliveries. Responsibilities Include:
- Complete tasks such as loading, unloading, sorting, picking, stocking, staging and transportation of goods
- Load and unload materials to and from designated storage area, such as racks, shelves, or vehicles. Stack or pile materials
- Install protective devices, such as bracing, padding, or strapping, to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported
- Verify computations against physical count of stock
- Maintains condition of work area (i.e. free of trash, product in correct location, etc.)
- Follows company safety policies and procedures and encourages other associates to do the same
- May drive to pick up incoming stock or deliver materials to designated locations or operate other machinery in order to complete tasks
- Makes deliveries to patient homes in a timely, safe and professional manner
- Makes pick-ups of equipment from patient’s home in a timely, safe and professional manner
Schedule:
- Must be able to work Full time between the hours of 8:30am-5:30pm, 40 hours per week
- Must have your own vehicle to make deliveries (we offer mileage reimbursement and hourly rate of pay)
- Must be able to drive up to 100 miles to make deliveries as needed
- Must have delivery driver/warehouse experience to include: Medical Courier, Pharmacy Delivery, Pharmacy Warehouse, etc.
- Most of the time will be spent assisting in the warehouse
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in area of responsibility
- Experience with deliveries to customer job sites preferred
- Valid Class D driver’s license
- Must own properly registered and insured vehicle to use for deliveries
