What are the responsibilities and job description for the Solar crew Installation lead position at SOLGRID SOLAR INC?
The installation Crew lead will manage a team of 2-4 installation technicians. Install solar panels using various installation hardware and racking. Build both commercial and residential projects. The Installation crew lead will work hand in hand with electricians and the installation crew to make sure the system conforms to all NEC electrical code requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day to day reporting to PM.
- Oversee production of installation team.
- Provide brief safety talks weekly for your team.
- Make sure company safety policy is strictly enforced by your team.
- Layout and assembly of solar modules/array and mounting hardware
- Mechanical/structural mounting of racking, modules and electrical equipment
- Make sure job site is clean at the end of each day.
- Additional duties required as needed
