Elementary Full Time Special Education Teacher Contract Job

At Soliant, we are seeking a dedicated and passionate Elementary Special Education Teacher to join our team. This full-time contract position is an excellent opportunity for a qualified educator to make a positive impact on the lives of elementary students in grades K-4.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a resource/inclusion classroom with approximately 10 students, focusing on individualized education and fostering a supportive learning environment.
• Deliver specialized instruction tailored to the needs of students in grades K-4 within a resource/inclusion model.
• Develop, implement, and adapt Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with educators, parents, and specialists.
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies to promote academic and social growth.
• Collaborate with general education teachers to facilitate inclusive classroom experiences.

This role supports students' individual learning needs through a resource and inclusion classroom framework, ensuring meaningful educational experiences.

Requirements:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Knowledge of special education laws, practices, and instructional strategies
• Ability to work effectively in both resource and inclusion classroom settings

Salary : $60,000 - $90,000
