Overview
We’re looking for a passionate and energetic individual who truly embodies the Solid & Striped brand to join our Nantucket pop-up. As a Sales Associate, you’ll be an essential part of our team, delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales, and creating a welcoming shopping experience. This role is perfect for enthusiastic and motivated individuals eager to gain hands-on experience in a retail environment.
Responsibilities
- Work independently in the absence of management to ensure seamless store operations.
- Manage opening and closing procedures efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized store while upholding Solid & Striped’s visual merchandising standards.
- Ensure merchandise is fully stocked, properly displayed, and appropriately sized.
- Keep the store clean, well-organized, and visually appealing at all times.
- Assist with inventory management, including shipments and stock transfers.
Sales & Customer Experience
- Greet and engage customers to create a warm and inviting shopping experience.
- Deliver exceptional customer service while demonstrating strong sales skills.
- Address customer inquiries, feedback, and concerns with professionalism.
- Balance multiple tasks, assisting customers while handling operational duties.
- Process sales transactions accurately, following POS system protocols.
Requirements
- Previous experience in sales or retail is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Familiarity with Shopify and POS systems is a plus.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- A positive attitude and eagerness to learn new skills.
