Crisis Therapist

Location : Union County, Oregon 97850

Compensation : $40–$55 per hour

Type : Contract (In-person, no remote work)

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate  Crisis Therapist  to join our team on a contracted basis, providing in-person support to individuals in Union County, Oregon. This role will focus on offering crisis intervention services in a variety of settings, including jails, hospitals, and community facilities. The ideal candidate is committed to making a difference, skilled in handling high-pressure situations, and capable of providing culturally competent care to diverse populations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide immediate crisis assessment, intervention, and stabilization services to individuals experiencing mental health or emotional crises.
• Work closely with law enforcement, jail staff, and healthcare providers to support individuals in correctional facilities and other settings.
• Conduct individual therapy sessions and develop short-term treatment plans for crisis resolution.
• Coordinate with community resources to ensure appropriate follow-up care and referrals.
• Document all services provided in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss cases and develop intervention strategies.
• Stay updated on best practices in crisis intervention and trauma-informed care.
