Job Description
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized care to patients. This includes assessment, diagnosis, outcomes planning, implementation, and evaluation. Collaborating with other inter-professional colleagues, including physicians, is essential in planning, implementing, and evaluating care.
Care is provided for patients in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. The RN is responsible for patient assessment, patient education, triage, and various other nursing interventions. They also plan and coordinate care, function within the scope and standards of nursing practice, and adhere to the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules.
A graduate from an accredited nursing program is required, with a bachelor's degree in nursing preferred. An unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring is also necessary.
- Must have at least six months of travel experience
- Will be paid weekly, with stipend included
- Contracts are 14 weeks with option to extend or go to another Sanford site
