About the Role
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care to patients. Collaborates with other inter-professional colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement and evaluate care.
Responsibilities:
- Assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care
- Collaboration with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient plans
- Providing education and support to patients and families
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program required
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing
- Maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
