Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized patient care, from assessment to follow-up.
- Collaborate with inter-professional colleagues, including physicians, to plan and implement patient care.
- Function within the scope and standards of nursing practice, adhering to state-specific regulations and guidelines.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and nursing practices.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program, including but not limited to American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA).
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring, or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
- Obtains and maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications.
