Position Description:
The quality control technician is a vital member of the quality and overall production team. The quality control technician is responsible for ensuring that all raw material/components/printed components are properly received, sampled, inspected and dispositioned appropriately.
Essential responsibilities:
• Monitors quality of raw materials according to material specifications.
• Responsible for verification and sampling of all raw materials.
• Responsible for maintaining and moving sample quantities in electronic system.
• Training new employees on applicable processes and procedures.
• Ensuring that the required sampling workflow is met to eliminate downtime.
• Verifies and audits compliance with standard operating procedures.
• Maintains quality control operations by following policies and procedures, reporting any deviation from such.
• Resolves quality-related issues.
Additional Responsibilities:
• Verify safety rules are being followed.
• Performs any other duties as directed or needed.
Education Requirements:
• High School diploma or equivalent required
Competencies/skill Qualifications:
• Must read, write, and speak English fluently, bilingual in Spanish a plus
• Strong math and analytical skills
• Motivated and a self-starter
• Detail oriented
• Effective communication skills
• Must be flexible with working hours
• English proficiency required
