POSITION SUMMARY Oversee all aspects of the daily operations of facility maintenance and management, ensuring that buildings, systems, and grounds meet all safety, quality, and operational standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES-include but are not limited to the following: * Lead strategic planning and direct the maintenance of the physical infrastructure of a senior living community. * Manage the facility’s maintenance department, promoting efficient operation of building systems and grounds. * Spearhead facility upgrades, renovations, and repair projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. * Collaborate with other members of leadership to develop long-term maintenance strategies and preventative maintenance plans to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of facility assets. * Direct and assist in supporting maintenance managers and specialists, providing guidance and leadership to enhance team effectiveness and professional development. * Ensure compliance with all health and safety standards, legal regulations, environmental policies, and building codes. May oversee Safety Committee. * Prepare and oversee the maintenance budget, including final approval of expenditures and optimizing resource allocation. * Coordinate responses to emergency maintenance situations, ensuring swift resolution and minimal impact on operations. * Maintain accurate records of maintain work, inspections, and compliance activities to support facility management and regulatory requirements.
