24-25 PT Utility Aide - El Sistema Program

Job Goal: To monitor the entrance of the school used for the El Sistema after school program and for maintaining a professional and courteous relationship with the staff, children, and families in the program.

Qualifications

• Ability to work as a member of the El Sistema Team
• Good people skills
• Good interpersonal and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Direct parents/guardians to specific rehearsal or performance spaces
• Oversee the El Sistema School entrance at the East Somerville Community School
• Screens visitors before allowing them into the building
• Direct parents/guardians to specific rehearsal or performance spaces
• Assist in directing and interacting with students while serving at their post
• To report any unusual conditions or malfunctions
• In the event of an emergency, the Utility Aid may be asked to take part in procedures set forth by the Emergency Response Team
• Monitor the flow of people to come in and afterschool pick up

$20.86 per hour
