Sonalysts, Inc. is seeking a submarine operations analyst to review and evaluate world-wide submarine activities at the Undersea Warfighting Development Center in Groton, CT. The successful candidate will be a key contributor to the development of innovative analysis and research projects that will expand the capabilities of the submarine force and the Navy at large.

What You Will Be Doing:
- Lead interesting and challenging analysis and research projects supporting submarine operations.
- Leverage previous tactical and operational experience to analyze operations using innovative data analysis tools to provide feedback, lessons learned, and data trending.
- Directly and positively impact submarine operations, naval warfare planning, tactics, advanced technologies, and training using analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Apply knowledge and experience as a submariner to a wide variety of additional projects and initiatives.

- Salary ranges between $80,000-$130,000, dependent on experience, qualifications, and other relevant business criteria.
Required Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of recent experience in submarine tactical operations.
- Must be a U.S. citizen, eligible for a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) TOP SECRET security clearance*
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience as a submarine officer (OOD) on an operational SSN/SSGN
- Experience in submarine navigation and tactical operations
- Experience in operations research
- Bachelor’s Degree in mathematics, engineering, operations research, or an applied science
- Possessing an active U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance*
Obtaining a U.S. Government security clearance involves a comprehensive background check.
