Sales Analyst
Purpose of role: Sales Analyst to drive sales growth at our growing company. You will work with field sales teams to identify and track opportunities to increase Phonak's shop share, reduce customer churn, and develop new avenues for sales. Working from our U.S. headquarters in Aurora, Illinois, and reporting to the Manager, Sales Analytics, you will be accountable for several intriguing responsibilities, so your days will be varied. Along with your expertise, you will have a desire to deepen your business acumen, curiosity about how and why everything works, and a strong desire to be accountable for improving processes and results.

Sales Analyst

- Analyze sales trends and key performance indicators, identifying performance drivers and communicating results and insights to the Senior Management Team
- Perform channel and customer-level analysis to support strategic decision-making
- Proactively monitor sales performance, identifying opportunities for improvement
- Partner with Sales Vice Presidents and Region Directors to complete the quarterly business review process for Senior Management
- Conduct financial modelling and analysis for customer pricing proposals
- Work with Sales, Marketing and Product Management teams to implement and track and analyze promotions within field sales teams
- Contribute to the calculation of the annual sales budget and monthly sales forecasts
- Recommend enhancements to business intelligence tools, including SAP BW and Salesforce
- Effectively communicate findings by catering communication style (and written material) depending on the audience
- Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business Administration or equivalent work experience
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience
- Excellent analytical skills, including advanced Excel knowledge
- Strong writing and interpersonal skills
- Highly meticulous and thorough to guarantee the accuracy of findings
- Proven self-starter with the drive to succeed and understand "why"
- Ability to manage multiple and competing tasks/priorities
- Excellent analytical skills, including advanced Excel knowledge
- Extensive working knowledge of PowerPoint
- Exposure to SAP (BW) and Salesforce products preferred
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables) required
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (powerpivot), Access a differentiator
